Accessibility Statement
Sitemerce, a service of Brandmerce LLC · Effective date: November 3, 2026 · Last updated: November 3, 2026
Our commitment
Sitemerce builds accessible websites, and we hold our own site to the same standard. We want sitemerce.com to work for everyone, including people who use screen readers, keyboards, magnification or other assistive technology.
Where we are today
This is an interim statement: it describes only what we have verified so far. A manual review of the site with a screen reader is scheduled for this week, and we will add its date and results here when it is done. Until then we make no claim that the site conforms to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).
How we test
Every update to the site's code is tested before it goes live, and every page of the live site is scanned again each week, with automated accessibility testing (axe-core):
- at four screen widths, from desktop to phone;
- in three modes: normal, reduced motion and high contrast.
Before each code update goes live, automated checks also test keyboard navigation, reflow to a 320-pixel-wide screen and colour contrast. We keep a dated record of these checks.
Known limitations
- Automated testing, including the free check we offer, finds only some accessibility issues. That is why a manual screen-reader review follows.
- Some pages we link to, such as the builders' own statements we quote, are run by others, and we can't control how accessible they are.

Ongoing efforts
We review the site for accessibility whenever we change it, and we will update this statement when the manual review is done, and at least once a year after that.
